Six services, with the boundaries written down.
FCL, LCL, air freight, customs, warehousing and trucking, project cargo. Each section sets out what fits, what we handle, what we need from you and the documents involved.
FCL out of Qingdao is the core. LCL consolidates per shipment, air freight moves via Qingdao, Shanghai and Beijing airports, customs covers export and transit declarations, warehousing and trucking serve the port area, and project cargo is assessed on equipment dimensions and lifting points. If a shipment sits outside these boundaries, we say so before quoting.
Full container load
FCL
FCL booking and export operations from Qingdao.
- Cargo and fit
- Furniture, machinery, building materials, non-dangerous chemicals and general cargo. When the volume approaches a 20GP or 40HQ, FCL is usually the simpler booking.
- What we handle
- Booking, trucking, export declaration and bill of lading confirmation. Arrival tracking continues to destination, where clearance and delivery are arranged with local agents.
- What we need
- Commodity, HS code, packages, gross weight, volume, origin, destination, Incoterms, target sailing date, and whether you need trucking and customs.
- Documents
- Customs declaration, packing list, invoice, contract and bill of lading. Licences or inspection certificates may be required by commodity.
Operations note Cut-off and gate closing times are set by the carrier for each sailing. Trucking and customs need to finish before that point, with the packing list and declaration data aligned.
| Type | Cargo | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 20GP | Dense cargo where total weight is the constraint | The smaller box, suited to heavy cargo. |
| 40GP | Large volume at moderate weight | Same footprint as 40HQ, lower internal height. |
| 40HQ | Light, bulky general cargo | Extra internal height for low-density cargo. |
| Open top | Over-height machinery that needs lifting in | The roof opens; loading and securing are planned in advance. |
| Flat rack | Over-width, over-length or irregular equipment | No side walls; lashing and out-of-gauge declaration are assessed per unit. |
Less than container load
LCL
Small shipments received and consolidated per bill.
- Cargo and fit
- General cargo below a full container, samples and replenishment orders.
- What we handle
- Warehouse receiving, consolidation booking, export declaration and bill of lading. Destination deconsolidation and delivery are arranged with local agents.
- What we need
- Commodity, packages, gross weight, volume, packing method, origin, destination and Incoterms.
- Documents
- Customs declaration, packing list, invoice, contract and bill of lading. Marks must separate each shipment inside the consolidation.
Operations note LCL is charged per shipment on volume or weight, whichever is greater. Warehouse cut-off follows the consolidation plan; a late delivery moves to the next sailing.
Air
Air freight
Qingdao, Shanghai and Beijing airports for general and e-commerce cargo.
- Cargo and fit
- General cargo, e-commerce shipments, samples and spare parts where speed matters.
- What we handle
- Booking, airport handover, export declaration and air waybill. Destination collection and delivery are arranged with local agents.
- What we need
- Commodity, packages, gross weight, volume, dimensions, origin airport, destination airport and Incoterms.
- Documents
- Customs declaration, packing list, invoice, contract and air waybill. Batteries or special cargo must be declared before booking.
Operations note Air freight is charged on chargeable weight, the greater of actual and volumetric weight. Flights and space follow the carrier's current schedule.
Customs
Customs clearance
Export declarations, transit declarations and document review.
- Cargo and fit
- Export and transit declarations at Qingdao, plus document review for FCL, LCL and air shipments.
- What we handle
- Declaration entry, supporting document check, filing, inspection support and release follow-up.
- What we need
- Contract, invoice, packing list, declaration draft, HS code, Incoterms, and licences where the commodity requires them.
- Documents
- Export declaration, contract, invoice, packing list and any commodity-specific licences.
Operations note The shipper confirms the HS code and declaration elements. Discrepancies are raised before filing so the declaration is not amended after departure.
Warehousing & trucking
Warehousing and trucking
Storage near Qingdao port, container loading and inland trucking.
- Cargo and fit
- FCL and LCL cargo that needs short-term storage, container loading, securing or inland transfer.
- What we handle
- Receiving and counting, container loading, securing, trucking dispatch and terminal handover.
- What we need
- Cargo list, packages, gross weight, volume, packing and securing requirements, delivery window and loading address.
- Documents
- Warehouse receipt, packing list, trucking instruction and loading photos where required.
Operations note Storage and trucking are charged on work performed. Dangerous or out-of-gauge cargo is assessed before it enters the warehouse.
Project cargo
Project logistics
Heavy machinery, open top and flat rack shipments.
- Cargo and fit
- Machinery, production line components, and cargo that is over-width, over-height or needs lifting.
- What we handle
- Centre of gravity and lifting points, stowage and securing plan, out-of-gauge declaration and port handover.
- What we need
- Dimensions, weight, centre of gravity, lifting points, stowage drawing, origin and destination, project timeline.
- Documents
- Customs declaration, packing list, invoice, contract and bill of lading. Out-of-gauge cargo needs dimension and lashing documents for the port.
Operations note We do not claim to take any out-of-gauge unit. Acceptance depends on the equipment, the carrier and the port, and every unit is assessed separately.
Rate request FAQ
Four questions asked most often, answered against how the work actually runs.
- What do you need to quote?
- Commodity, HS code, packages, gross weight, volume, origin, destination, Incoterms and target sailing date, plus whether you need trucking, customs and insurance.
- What makes up the rate?
- Ocean or air freight, terminal and airport handling, customs, trucking and documentation. Destination charges are quoted separately by the agent; the quotation is the reference.
- Can you clear customs and deliver at destination?
- We arrange this with destination agents. Scope and cost depend on the destination port. Clearance and delivery are not included in the standard quote by default.
- How is the shipment tracked after arrival?
- We follow arrival, collection and container return by bill of lading and container number. For inspections, port delays or rebooking, we set out the options and the time each one costs.
